I know I am DEAD WRONG!

Okay, so I got all hyped up about starting a blog (last year! eek!) I can't believe it's been a year!!!!!! Anyway, I have not followed up like I planned, but I promise I am going to do better! I have been baking up a storm but everything is on my flickr account---a bowl and a spoon. go check it out! I'll be in touch!!1

I am a die-hard fan of real old school R&B, hip-hop, music from when MTV played videos. I am going to start compiling a list of my all time fav songs. What do you think should be added?

Seasons of Love

Hi, this is my very first post on my very first blog. Why did I start this blog? I guess for a few reasons. I love to bake and am hoping to connect with other bakers to swap ideas and share our success and triumphs (and a little mishap every now and then). I also started this blog because I truly believe, on some level, we are all connected. We can share joys, random thoughts, good deals, kind of like a blog talk show starring all of us! It'll be fun and I am looking forward to getting started!!!
So I was just listening to "Seasons of Love" from the Rent soundtrack. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that song. I think it reminds me of hope and how the capacity to love just changes things. I mean think about it, how do you measure your life? When I think of this song and measuring your life in love, I mean that is really deep. I was just reflecting on that, it's important to remember that. Sometimes I just take a moment and reflect on a happy event in my life...getting married, having kids, even something as mundane as someone returning manners. I try to take all the positives in a day and make sure they far outweigh the negatives.
